Yeah, slightly longer than standard but you can always offset them. Just be slightly cautious about sinking poles into the ground, if the shelter does go in the wind, it'll try and snap the poles rather than just letting them fall over ... digging a bit of a hollow's fine though

I always use the EDD online spoke calc http://lenni.info/edd/ and get the dimensions from manufacturers websites/tech drawings. Never failed me yet.

Over the last few months the following has gradually amassed (I've been a bit busy recently so haven't got round to fitting them).

Bike Bits

• 3 x suspension service kits from tftuned and the fluids etc.
• Fizik Tundra Saddle
• 40T Stainless STeel Surly Chainring
• 9 speed KMC Chain
• Anodised blue ceramic bearing jockey wheels
• 4 pairs of brake pads
• 10 Speed rear cassette (11-36T)
• 10 speed flat bar road shifters
• Swapped brand new black XT crankset for brand new silver set for colour matching!
• 9 Speed cassette (11-32T)
• Hope Thick/Thin 32T chaingring
• Brand new crosslight cx rim (to swap with the one a car ran over...)
• Left hand XT brake lever
• Pauls chainkeeper guide thing

A lot of that is for the commuter bike, the 9 speed stuff on the Cotic is going to the Trek and the 10 speed shifter, chain + cassette, hope ring are going on the Cotic. I count these as mostly service items

Bikepacking/ish related

• 18650 3.7v Li-Ion protected cell to replace the knackered one inside my 2009 exposure joystick
• And a ZPacks hexamid has been ordered.

When I list it out, that's a bit scary

Right, gonna have a lie down after the shock of that, then shall attempt to spray the stainless front ring so it colour matches the bike

John: I am thinking of blowing my daughters inheritance on some of those Lauf forks for a frame project. Be really interested on how you find them for bikepacking. Problem is I need to factor a new front wheel as I only have QRones. A Belgian rider seems happy with them and I saw a pic on Matt Page's race bike as well.
Assume you got them direct from Iceland.
