Which bike are you using for the WRT?
I'm undecided on whether to use my 29er or my cx bike.
Had planned on using the 29er and doing some proper off roading in the hills but then a vision of big miles and gravel tracks on the cx bike popped into my head.....

I would take the 29er, we did it last year on CX bikes and whilst it was fun and bit of bounce would have made it a lot nicer.
I'll be doing it on a fatty this year though.

My newly lightened Karate Monkey, just so much more fun than my CX bike

My trusty on one 456! I was hoping to have a stooge or longitude for it, but I won't be able to raise the funds in time!

Probably my cheap Orbea. Although I keep wondering if I should take my s/s for a long walk.

Any bike that makes you consider avoiding great looking trails because they will be too technical/steep etc for the bike, when you have a bike capable of them seems a bit mental to me.
That's coming from someone who on occasion has struggled (failed) to keep up on more technical descents (Dyfi Forest on last year's Mach n Back or or whatever it was called) riding my rigid Fargo when my riding buddies were on full-suspension bikes with 130mm + travel.
So probably my Fargo again as I can pretty much ride everything on it, albeit a little slowly sometimes, but maybe my Giant Trance.

Lurcher probably as it's the best combo of weight, bounce and luggage hauling. Or maybe Fatty if I'm feeling daft.

Genesis Fortitude Adventure,
Unless (entries allowing) my wife comes along, and then I'll be relegated to a rigid steel, moustache bar'd, mid '80s Muddy Fox Sorcerer, or a similarly aged rigid steel Specialized Hard Rock
Pic below from a mainly road based bivvying weekend where the rear overhang didn't matter too much

Not so much a gravel grinder.... more a gravel (mud and tarmac) groveller...

Re: Which bike are you using for the WRT?
The CX bike is ruled out and I'll be on a Singular Pegasus. Just debating whether to put a bouncy fork on it or stay ridged.
Re: Which bike are you using for the WRT?
My Shand Stoater as used on the Ford Fiesta but with a bit more air in the WTB Nano tyres at the start.
No choice because I'll have cycled to the WRT from Leicester via Bristol (Bespoked Bike show) and Cardiff (visiting family including cute grandson). Will be leaving front and rear racks/panniers with as much stuff as possible at the start to travel lighter
After the WRT off to St Beuno's Spirituality Centre, St Asaph, Denbighshire for a week before riding back to Leicester.
I've decided to do this ride all on the WTB Nano's and without mudguards to make the adaptation for the WRT quicker.

I've used a singlespeed in the past, good excuse to push sections...
