Anyone rate the Rab ignition 2XL sleeping bag. Got a mate who is well long and looking for a bag to get into bivying. Is 1150g a reasonable weight for this money?

Well I've had my eyes on a Rab alpine jacket (pertex equilibrium) for a while now. Thing is, I want the blue one and they don't do my size, but they do have my size in green..but green isn't my colour :|

Been on the lookout for a cheap down gillet for a while, I was about to hit the buy button but decided to have a little look to see if there was anything else out there when I came across this: http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/regatta-ice ... et-p304800

Going to try one on this evening

Blacks have got the Exped Synmat Lite 5 reduced to £45 from £75 ... Note - it's not the UL version but a very good mat all the same.

http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/10096 ... range.html

Also some good reductions on various quality (summer) bags:

Mountain Hardwear Ratio 45: £115 from £200: http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/06165 ... -grey.html

Montane Featherlite: £140 from £200: http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/05446 ... g-bag.html

Mountain Hardwear Ratio 32: £130 from £215: http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/06166 ... black.html

I got a pair of Conti X king tyres in 2.4 flavour. Available for £25 a pair from the good guys at 18 bikes in hope.

I think there's some other conti styles too.

It's a new compound and conti are looking for some feedback. Just take you wheels in and they will swap your tyres over for you.

I'm pretty sure that conti insist on that to prevent them being re-sold.

I dont have a 29er frame at the moment, but am giving it serious considerations! Are these wheels any good? http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/WPOOTW29/o ... et-29-inch £80 seems a bit of a bargain, thought it appears to be for the 9mm front & rear option.

I've a pair of those rims hung up in the workshop, they seem okay. I think, if you're considering building a budget 29er they'd be a good starting point.

Linky no worky, but are these the reetard wheels? If so i've had some new to me ones on my single speed for a couple of years & after the crap original bearings were replaced with some bobby dazzler enduro ones they've been spot-on.
Had a front pringle when a mate fell on it, but it straightened out no probs..

Had no experience if it's a geared freehub version though..

I had them. I thought they were ok at the time. Sold them and upgraded. Now have wtb wheelset. Utter crap. The reetards now seem wonderful.
