Possible trip next weekend. . .
Waiting to hear if a friend has a pass for the weekend - but it's to sounding likely. Either way I want to get a ride and bivi in. If anyone else fancies organising something drop me a line - looking to stay up north rather than trek to Wales (as tempting as the bothies are, I feel I'm neglecting yorkshire)

Don't feel bad ... the rest of the nation has been doing the same since 1867. If we're honest, even last years TdF was just the cycling equivalent of a sympathy sh*g(as tempting as the bothies are, I feel I'm neglecting yorkshire)

May the bridges you burn light your way

Give me a shout.
You can pick up your stuff as well
(Although should be in Sheffield with work later in the month)

Will do chew - and you'll need to bag a bivi this month what with the new rules in place :)

I don't think pies are banned but you'd need to taken your own ;-)adjustablewench wrote:I'm guessing it's a Greg's without pastry products :)
It is a bothy http://www.mountainbothies.org.uk/bothy ... othy_id=86
I'd guess one of the highest in the country?

Looks good - when are you going? Think my weekend trip will be closer to home

Re: Possible trip next weekend. . .
No firm plans. Just in my radar as somewhere I'd like to go.
The pie connection hadn't occurred to me. But is the obvious meal choice when I do go

I can thoroughly recommend M & S root vegetable and goats cheese rolls, sold on the deli. I struggle to find stuff I want to eat when riding, but these definitely hit the spot . . . . Not really greggs standard (thankfully!)
