New guy
Hi all, new on here, stumbled across bike packing at the end of the summer after watching the "tour divide " race movie, the accidentally finding the htr550. While I'm a life long MtBer over only recently gone out for a night and definitely have the bug.
I've plans to try the Cairngorms loop , maybe the Lakeland 200, and the Welsh c2c , I'm base in Northern Ireland so hope to plan a few of my own routes too.
Dealt impressed by the videos and hope to meet a few of you someday
Cheers

Hi Jester & welcome to the forum
Have a look at the winter event, if you can make it, it's a great excuse to get out & meet some other members..

I would love too! Any suggestion on getting to the start from Holyhead? I'm in Northern Ireland and would be happy to get a ferry over, mbut bringing a car too would be cost prohibitive.

jester - take a look at ferry and train prices combined. A couple of years ago we got Burton-on-Trent to Dublin return for £52. If you can get towards Chester / Shrewsbury or even Caersws you should be able to pick up a lift.
From Bangor it is a fairly straight run South if you get an decent start on Friday morning.
