Normally not, as I like to keep it a mystery, but I'm sure I could make an exception and send something over.

I have a longer (scenic) option and a shorter (poor weather/slacker) option to get people to the pub

Makes sense, dont worry about sending anything over. Ive a long weekend at the end of November, so i may just head over to Calderdale to see how i get on with the terrain. Ive found a couple of routes online so should give me a decent understanding of the terrain :-bd

Hi I'm new to the site but Calderdale sounds like an excuse to use my snugpak

Can probably drive and have a four bike carrier
Not sure if you have sorted anything out yet but I will be coming north on the M1 from Nottingham. I have a Transit Connect so can fit a couple more bikes in but only one passenger. Let me know if that is any use.

Can I have a show of hands?

10 days away now, so just want to have an idea of the number of people to expect.

Hopefully the current weather will continue and things will dry out a bit :-bd

Will be there,
Looking forward to it. What is everyone doing for breakfast, will we be taking stuff or is there a cheeky Greasy Spoon en route?

Think that makes 7 of us:

RobA

Marvelous frost here tonight so if it stays like this the ground will nicely dry out. It was super fast for this evenings night ride

Bring a breakfast as there wont be any shops/food until we get back to Hebden.

Hopefully we'll see you another time Rich.

Think that now makes 6 with Ian

Its should have nicely dryed out with another hard frost tonight. Should be sunnyish both days, but expect some rain overnight.

I have a good weather and a poor weather spot in mind. The poor weather is sheltered, but next to a stream thats a bit noisy. You've been warned

Me and RobA are riding in from mine, so expect us sometime between 12.00 &12.30

If someone can bring a lock for the pub that would be marvelous. I can't seem to find mine.

Me and cat are snuggled in front of the TV after stuffing our faces :-) Great ride yesterday and really good food in the pub. Was heavy rain in the middle of the night but we survived :-)

Thanks very much to chew for a great ride, pub and bivy spot.

See everyone soon.

Thanks to Chew for organising. A very good route for the winter social. I made it to 7 before sleeping last night.

Good to hear that a good time was had by all. A bit jealous as had a very hectic weekend involving nonstop kids party's and sleepovers! Also was planning to stay in the cross fell bothy tomorrow after working up north but that's just been cancled.

Will head out in to the peak instead I reckon

Could I get a gpx file for the route possibly? Would be nice to do the route considering I'm so close!
