Winter Bag

Post by Eka567k »

Hi I have about £100 to spend on a sleeping bag for use in early spring and potentially late December. I'm a average warmth and unfortunately cant do down. Any suggestions? was looking at the snugpak softie elite 3. Seems to pack small and has reasonable ratings. I'm wondering that if i did go out this winter, will it will be warm enough wearing some thermal and my buffalo jacket?
Thanks
Ant

I think Mountain Hardwear Lamina bags are about the best synthetic bags available. Reasonably light, small(ish) pack size and well made.

Lamina 0 (-18 lower rating) for £120 here: http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/12501 ... #read_more

Or the Lamina 20 (-7 lower rating) for £108 here: http://www.outdoorkit.co.uk/product.php ... AuvA8P8HAQ

Happy Lamina user here. I have a Laimina 0 for winter and a Lamina 35 for the rest of the year.
