Just a thought ... seeing as I don't have a phone, would anyone like to volunteer their number in case anyone's running late or whatever?

Was thinking about getting dropped at top of the mountain road and then roll down to yours and cycle over to save going back and forth.

Not a problem though, might just get a lift to Brigands and cycle from there.

You're welcome to ride out with me late Fri afternoon if you like. I'm going to meet Yetiman in the pub for some tea.

Cracking, I'll stick me head in Friday evening, see if you're still there and then and take it from there.

We should be there from around 7.00. Once Mike's had one too many we'll head off a couple of miles to a spot I've got earmarked. Sat morning will involve a breakfast too :-bd

So who's planning on sleeping under the stars this Saturday night or is it just me, whilst you guys stay warm inside?
Tbf the only reason I'm outside is because I'm not sure you guys will want me to wake you up at 5am when I'm packing my stuff away to leave
Let's hope there's not another full moon hey stu!

Ooo, have I missed something here, staying warm inside? So are we in the cowshed looking building (page 3) or somewhere else?
Tent/bivvy or cowshed?

Well I'll be under my tarp or possibly tucked up in my tent depending on the wind forecast

You shouldn't need a tarp on Fri night Mike.

SAT NIGHT - Expect and prepare to be spending the night outside. If the weather continues, then also expect it to fall well below freezing.

EDIT: Actually the forecast is predicting it getting warmer on Sat with a chance of rain late Sat night / Sun morning.

Chaps, my children, AKA mobile disease vectors, have given me a stinking cold and chest infection. I won't be out to play this weekend. Have a great time.

I'm still fighting my computer and digital elevation models which may scupper my cook off shopping plan.

Is smash and beans an acceptable entry?

Smash and beans will beat my pasta meal, scotch egg and beans so at least you won't come last!
