Wow - missed that review Ben - thanks. Promising design but that is exactly what you don't want in the middle of nowhere. The padded tounge not drying out doesn't sound too good either. Cheers.

Re: Giro Terraduro
Mark, i bought a pair of these in the US a few months ago whilst out there. They were a great price and they look great on, i love the design. However after riding in them just ONE day ( in dry dusty idaho terrain ) i took them straight back to the shop for a full refund!
The glue on the rubber sole had started to come apart around the cleat area and was delaminating from the base of the shoe. On inspection i noticed this on both soles. My first thoughts were apart from the shocking build quality. Wet welsh weather! These wouldnt of stood upto an hour in the wet if they could only manage a day in the hot sun? Very disapointed in this shoe, like i say they do look the part and are very comfortable on the foot but in this country i think we need more roboost footwear due to the weather we get. Hope this helps

Re: Giro Terraduro
1 day.... thats all i had them for
I now have the Mavic Alpine XL trail shoe and i love it, however i can say change the insoles and they are great ( ive put some surefeet in ). They have been through so many bogs and been full of water in the last month or so and show no signs of damage to the construction at all.

Re: Giro Terraduro
i got a pair a good few months ago after reading many glowing reviews!
love mine, I changed the insoles to something with no support (i spend most of my time in "barefoot" shoes)
nice balance as far as walking/riding goes.
they seem to hold a tiny bit more water than some but hasn't been much issue for me so far, I just wear booties and wool socks when its raining.
(I would like to find something similar but super quick drying in the future though)

Re: Giro Terraduro
oh and I read that the delaminating issue was only on the fist production shoes and they long ago sorted that issue

Re: Giro Terraduro
Cheers for the feedback Son... I thought they'd have to sort an issue like that pretty quickly. I'll see if I can find a pair to try.
