A reminder with added stupidity content.

The other day while instructing, I noticed my 'dropper' seatpost wasn't behaving just as it should. The following day I decided it must be time to give it a service/fettle, so off I went into the workshop.

Rather than emerging 30 minutes later basking in the warm glow of a job well done ... I emerged 2 hours later, clutching the wreckage that was once a dropper seatpost

Remember folk ... keep some grease on those seatposts and check they're not starting to seize from time to time

I'm glad to say the frame survived intact. I'd have been gutted if I'd damaged it ... we've been together for a long, long time so I was willing (not like I had a choice) to sacrifice the post
