How far off was I with the bridge?
6-7km off.
within 1 km of a named bridge
Within 1k but not on the same grid square.
Is this named bridge marked on the map 1:50 or 1:25k ?
1:25k
Are we allowed to know a rough bearing on which it lies from bb towers.
Ians first GR will give you a clue.

I've slept in this before, can't be seen from the clifftop and inaccessible from below.

Not generally inviting, either full of rubbish or human faeces.

Will check it out later. Have been asleep or away from maps/ satellite imagery since last night, so didn't get a chance to find it for myself.

Ah, I was looking at this location on the map the other night while trying to decipher the BB200 route. I figure this was connected to your 2 mile hike a bike through the bracken?
