OS maps for WRT
Just want to know which OS maps to buy for WRT. If anyone knows? Thanks
Re: OS maps for WRT
You'll have to wait until Stu releases the GR's in April

Over the last few years how many OS maps has it covered? Just so I can budget them in like! :)

Nice one flatfishy :) My father inlaw is a bit of a map man and has a shed load for the Black mountains and the surrounding areas, infact it wouldn't surprise me if he had them for the whole of Wales... I may have to speak nicely to him. 8-)

watch the OS site they often have 3 for 2 deals
Re: OS maps for WRT
OS select can make custom maps centred where you want.
Last years WRT was over 2 maps, with the magic of custom maps I managed to ditch the weight of one of those maps and have everything on one sheet.

I can say that there will be at least one map required, that's not been needed before

If you draw a line on DNF map from, Mach' to Llanidloes, then from Llanidloes to Caersws. From Caersws continue your line up to Llangollen then to Bala before dropping across to Dol' and from there back to Mach'.
That'll gve you some idea of where you might be going.
