The Mk2 version uses two T connectors and two more bits of pipe to keep the bag off the head tube as well.
Which reminds me, I need to shorten that hose, instead of just wrapping the spare length round the frame.

Handlebar bag thing from 12mm pipe
I was a bit concerned about my handlebar bag kinking my brake hoses, so I cable tied a length of 12mm air pipe, as used on trucks and buses, across the bars to space it away.
