His name isn't even bear. It's bloomin' Edward.
This kind of stuff really annoys me.

Does this site need to think about rebranding?

I'm all for protecting valid IP .. but ffs : ) If you're named after an animal you'd want your lawyers to claim that as copyright? Choose a better name for your brand, work on the unique element of your surname, something.. I mean his image / brand could cover anything used outdoors right?

I remember Chris Evans having a hissy fit once because someone registered http://www.ginger.com or some such before he could. He said something about it not being right or fair because the bloke who registered it wanted to sell it to Evans for more than he paid. Tosser.
Re: Watch out for the lawyers !

Re: Watch out for the lawyers !
"Bear Grylls... what a douche" fatbike rim stickers anyone?

Re: Watch out for the lawyers !
That was a little bit different, the bloke had bought the domain specifically to sell on, it wasn't an in-use domain or someone's company name. The guy selling was a scammer.Ray Young wrote:I remember Chris Evans having a hissy fit once because someone registered http://www.ginger.com or some such before he could. Grylls, however, is an absolute prize tool.
