Something in the midlands 9th/10th August

I was planning to be in the south this weekend but due to a change of plans I won't be going and my girl friend will have the car.

Looking to maybe do some sort of bivi trip that weekend in the midlands somewhere. I'll be riding from South Birmingham to where ever it is. Maybe Long Mynd? Wondered if anyone was up for anything?
