Re: Wide drops?
I'd have thought that 46cm Woodchippers would be the widest?
May the bridges you burn light your way
Re: Wide drops?
Luxys are wider but rarer and a quite 'extreme' shape, Woodchipper 46s are still pretty huge and more like 'drops'. Both felt too wide to me, I usually ride 44cm or wider slightly-flared cowbell type drops if that's any guide.

Re: Wide drops?
Salsa cowbells are 46 cm c-c and v comfy - a great cross or touring bar. Most standard road bike bars measure to the outside of the tube except Race face cadence which are C-C.

Re: Wide drops?
I've been using 46cm salsa woodchippers on the croix de fer for the past 5 weeks. Nice and wide, comfy and much less shoulder blade ache than before. The flared drops have given me much more confidence on the down hills now as they give loads more control. Will report back after next weeks bike packing trip.
