Side open bottle cages

Post by welshwhit »

Hi all,

What are folks using?

I've seen the lezyne and specialized ones, much to split them?

Any others out there?

Thanks

I use leyzne ones on my cross bike. Like them a lot although I ordered 2 right sided ones which means my seat tube one exits to the left. Should get around to changing it really...

I have both Lezyne and Specialized and prefer the Specialized one, easier getting bottles out.

I've been using the Spesh cages for about 3 years now. Currently on my second set after I wore through the plastic on the first. Despite that, the plastic are better than the alloy versions I have on another bike.

I've been using the ones that James has linked to ... very happy with them. If they're still on offer they're a superb bargain (and not bad if they're not).

Got the bonty ones as above and I've got both the metal and composite spesh that Ian mentions.
The spesh version are by far better in the composite variety than the bonty a but £11 dearer. The metal versions are ok but iirc the same price as the composites.
Also come handed so you can have the openings on the same side.
