Gwyn the post brought me a pair of these, not had chance to try them yet as I've spent the last 2 days coaching members of a rather elite regiment ... I can't say anymore or I'd have to kill you, however they must have been very hot in their special headwear

An eBay purchase showed up whilst I was out visiting the good folk at keep pedalling (collecting tyres for the gaffer for l erocia)
Nice Chris king sprocket.
Gwyn the post delivered a custom tarp this morning. While most 'single' tarps have a length of 2.2m - 2.4m this one is 2.8m long which gives much more coverage when set up as a half 'mid. Tips the scales @ 235g inc lines and stuff sack.
Apologies for the shoddy set-up but I was excited and rushing.
It's lighter than I expected, I was thinking it'd be nearer 300g considering it's got 3 mid-point tie-outs.
Obviously been a PORG helps with the coverage but I'd say even a 6 footer could fit without head or feet touching the sides ... something you can't do under the more usual lengths.

I'm also a Shimano 41, but was advised by zigrat to size up, which I did and a size 42 is a perfect fit.
Got a Revelate Viscacha delivered yesterday, wow, massive capacity, really stable, plus the mesh pocket that goes on top behind the saddle, really handy. No more dry bag faffing.
Panaracer comet 29" 2.1 hardback tyre from Evans for my forthcoming borders 300 miler. I did order the 2.25 which was £17.99, they sent me the 2.1 which should have cost £26.99 so I have saved some cash as I'm happy with the skinnier tyre. Gonna put that on the back and a 2.2 race king on the front which I already have. .
the post man has been this week, and along with him and all the other tat I had lying around
put together a new single speed ,
it will only come out a few times a year as the krampus is my first choice,
but I will go and get it dirty tonight to test it out
