This is the first of what will probably be a short series of posts between now and the HTR.
First up:
3 loksaks for putting electronical bits and pieces in to stop them getting wet
2 spare batteries for my Contour to replace the ones that got wet on the WC2C
Very excited here. Postie brought a brand new BMX!!!! Now before everyone gets all excited and starts banging on about the early days of BMX in the 1970/80/90s when you were the only lad at the local track who could tabletop (hang on … that was me ) this one is an 11th birthday present for my boy who has decided he is not going to be an electrical engineer after all but a world champion downhiller and reckons the first step way to get there is to session the jumps the teenagers have built in the woods. All good then.

^^ Not much room for a seat pack, but we could squeeze a small Wildcat Ocelot in the frame and the crossbar on the handlebars will make a great place to hang a big volume bar bag.
Today was a good day. Deore brakes, Alpkit harness and Dual Airlock, Nukeproof Electron pedals, bottom bracket.
Day off work. All fitted to the bike ready for Cairngorm tomorrow

Were they in that puddle you were carrying round with you?
Yesterday - a splitting maul, a wood grenade and a sharpening stone / diamond pen thingy (which has turned out to be remarkably good for sharpening brash hooks).
Split some sh!t last night. Feel like a man
Plus one of those funny expander half cassette thingys which was on STW form Absolute Black or whatever they're called.
558 miles... That's one thing I learned from using GPS, on the pc the route is always shorter.
Usually makes quite a difference. Last year's mine read 457 miles, not 400 or 430. That's still a half afternoons worth of riding. Looks like you'll be going beyond 900 km.
I'm going to receive some food for a non biking trip today or monday from here: http://www.lyophilise.fr/
Busy couple of days on the bike bits front. Friday saw the arrival of my frame, forks, chain ring and few other minor bit. Frame looks lovely. Paint is very slightly metallic, but with a Matt/lustre finish.
