Nice story, nice photos (the weather always helps eh?). I think you camped in exactly the same spot I did two years ago and I recall waking up and watching the line of sunlight gradually descending the hill opposite until it hit the tent and it was time for breakfast

Looks lovely - am I right in thinking some of that is on the Cairngorms Loop?
Hope to get some nice weather up there next weekend...

It's a lovely spot :)
The new track in the glen is a vast improvement over the muddy heathery mess of old!

Thanks - I will study your pictures carefully

Re: Tilt - Feshie- Tromie
Any questions, just ask. You'll cover ground pretty quickly in Feshie and Tromie. The heathery, contoury singletrack in Feshie - just after Geldie, can be bypassed on the landy track if you're racing.
The feshie landslips are the only thing that will slow you down slightly there.

I might take another trip up with some tools, though I suspect that could be an annual task!!vorlich wrote: The feshie landslips are the only thing that will slow you down slightly there.

They're holding up pretty well TBH, in truth I was over them quickly, I did dismount though.
