I posted this earlier in my what sleeping bag post but thought it was best to start a new topic in case it got lost in there;
Is anyone familiar with the UKHammocks brand?
They make a summer fill top quilt;

Fill: 350g
length: 1.9m
Width: 1.25m
Weight: 650g (aprox)
Colour: Olive Green or Coyote Brown
Temp Rating: -6c (21.2f)
For the price of around £130 it seems like a bargain for a -6 quilt. Even if that is an exaggeration I only need something comfort rated to around 0.
At 650g, a 3 ltr packed size, -6 comfort rating and all at £130 is this almost too good to be true?
Has anyone used or seen one of these?

Yes I have custom size one from matt and it works perfecly, I like it even though I am an advocate for synthics fill.
I went for the over fill option in mine.
If you have a old down bag he can turn that in to a quilt for you for £50.

Re: UK Hammocks Top Quilt
I've got one (plus two UQs). Good kit, well made by a nice chap in the UK. I spent a few visits rooting through his wares when he used to live down the road from me. I now have a lot of hammock gear
IME the down is very high rating / quality and Mat has a tendency to over-stuff slightly. It depends on what temperature ranges you want the quilt for but I have always been toasty. I'd bear this in mind when considering the over-stuff option.
Fabric looks and feels in the hand a bit slicker / diferent compared to other maker's fabrics but it's very comfy in use. Colours are at the nature / drab end (green, brown etc) but that's not something which affects function. Mine has been christened the "gold condom" by others despite being described as "coyote brown"
. Foot box is usually finished with a cord channel and cinch, not as slick maybe as a properly sewn in footbox / bottom but perfectly functional.
Mat will often do bespoke stuff, tweaks and might even have lighter fabric in so it's always worth an email if you want to explore this sort of stuff. I've always found him exceptionally helpful. I don't think they come with loops to allow straps under a pad (as you find on Enlightened Equipment quilts) but I imagine if you wanted them he'd happily add. Up to you whether they are something you want.
Whilst the buckle at the neck might look like a potential thing to rub or get poked by in the night I've never noticed it.
His Youtube channel is worth alook as there's lots of useful stuff there. Highly recommended IME.
