Just back from the Dutch SS Champs. We had a night in Bruges. There's a tiny bar there called De Garre https://degarre.be/
Their 'house beer' is just incredible... comes with a big thick head (and gives you one too if you have enough) which lasts, never disappears into the beer.
It's flippin marvellous, and well worth sniffing out if a) you can find the bar, b) you can get in

It was! And I can recommend this one in a similar vein. Found in the 'Booths of the South', aka Waitrose.
