They thought the fire, in a fire pit, had gone out but it reignited and spread

Re: So this is who lights fires ...
I see some really odd stuff on youtube, there seems to be a thing for people doing 'nature camping' lifestyle videos that show special 'hacks'. Saw/skipped through one recently where someone set up shelter in a triangle of trees, by wrapping said triangle in 5ft high of clear pallet-wrap plastic on a big roll, including a roof!. They could see out, but no wind coming in, clever and non-reusable. Portable wood burner in the middle,. As ever they did an idyllic swim in a river, slept snugly, cooked a massive amount of meat and off in the morning. I know most of these videos are so they can get lots of views for themselves...it's just weird.

As I pedaled round Loch Rannoch the other day, it was like Piccadilly circus with all the folk camping out, in order to get away from it all.... Many fires.....
https://bikepacking.com/plog/fueled-by-fire/ I think this a better approach to in tent fires though

Both those last two are pretty horrendous aren't they, well spotted gents. The right-hand Tailfin photo looks like the model is being burned at the stake which seems an appropriate retribution.
