Ah! I'm currently looking for alternatives to my Kyotes as the forward sweep interferes with handlebar rolls/bags and hadn't thought this through: You're obviously quite right and in fact, buying made in Taiwan 'American' components is possibly an even better way of sticking it to the [orange] man, so Tumbleweed Persuaders or Soma Dream Risers are still on the list.
