Just seen that Trek / Bonty have discontinued the 3" XR2's. Trek will still sell you a Stache or a 1120 frameset but not tyres to fit it.
Only Surly left now....
I have a loft full of XR2's but I still feel this is a very bad thing as 29+ works so well....

Booo... I'd better stock up on whatever I can find for the dirtbomb then. Currently got a new spare DHF and vitorria, along with a couple of used tyres. Probably need a few more to see me until someone realises how good 29+ is again and brings it back!

We will still be able.to get them but they will be about £100 a tyre

Good time to be building up a speedball :lol: luckily the wheels I got came with some 3" tyres...still a couple of tyres in 2.8 like the rekon+, vigilante, and options from travail (though again being phased out). Some stocking up to be done, but personally I'm ok going to 2.6 too...not 29+ by then tho.
