Saw this route on bike packing.com and it looks amazing:

Am considering giving it a go, but maybe splitting it into two. Not quite sure about food/resupply and the long rafting section on Loch Linnie looks out of my comfort zone, especially as I'm generally on my own

I know about 70% of the area/route.
The only worry I would have is crossing Loch Sunart. It faces west and can get quite rough. I have kayak/camped it a few times.

I haven't read the article but resupply looks good. 3 good shops with regular hours, I use them often. Strontian. Lochaline. Archaracle.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. The Loch Sunart crossing would be the most intimidating bit for me too.

Friends used to visit Drumbhuide at the end of the track before the Loch Sunart crossing - an eccentric chap lived there creating various electricity generating contrivances and living off the land.
I think you could do the loch crossing by heading north east to the south of Oronsay and then sneaking across the sheltered narrows. Probably best done at slack tide though (or incoming tide)
There is a trail along the Loch Linnhe section which I'm told does go....
