2 months in Morocco 2025

Post by woodsmith »

I just got back from 2 months in Morocco . Followed the AMR route in the opposite direction from Essaouira to Tafraout, Route of caravans (with lots of variations) to Boumalne Dades, big loop down to Merzouga through Toura, Oum Jrane and Sidi Ali, on to Rissani, Gara Medour and Erachidia. Bus to Midelt and picked up the Caravans North route on the cirque du Jafar. Four inches of snow one night in Khenifra forest and half a day of rain on the way to Chefchaouen. Second trip there on the bike and definitely not the last. Album of pics here for those interested.

That looks amazing, especially the contrast between all that desert and then the snow!

Also more cute kitties :-bd

Stunning photos, enjoyed scrolling through them

A few stood out, love the blue town photos, really looks a nice place to visit. Did particularly like the photo of the two cats on the blue steps

Certainly wasn’t expecting snow! I know they have that high up but was it something you were anticipating?
