As above, there seem.to be quite a few high end bikes on Ebay being offered for seemingly random pruces?
Has anyone else noticed this?
Is it just me, or is Ebay full.of stolen bikes?

It's hard to say - what I'm noticing is stuff going for big money with a 1 line description or an AI description which does make you wonder. I want to message the seller and ask them if they actually want to sell anything? Or - do they not know what it is so are using the AI description to hide this....
I tend to only go for things with a genuine description and good photos.

I think the 'random' prices are a knock on effect of it now being free to sell: The fees are added to the price the seller sets, so we end up with the xx.72 or xx.34 or whatever.
And only half are nicked ;-)

Bound to be , there are a number of sellers who have a steady stream of poorly described high end parts. ..they could be stripping legit bikes but they domt seem to know much about bikes if they are.
I avoid as i do gumtree and FB as theft of bikes ends if they cannot be resold.
Clearly some legit sellers as well but hard to know for certain.

ebay is a now rats' nest of stolen stuff, counterfeits and scammers. And if you're a genuine seller, the idiots making knock-down offers make it a waste of time too. Only FB marketplace is worse.!
