WTD : Garmin (possible Etrex or similar)

Post by javatime »

My Etrex 30x, bought on here a while ago is failing at the rubber power button and might leak in the next downpour.

Whilst I could get a replacement cover etc, thought I might see if anyone has a GPS unit they are looking to move on ?

Thanks for the top tip but it has also been playing up a bit recently, not always seen as USB by my laptop when trying to load tracks, factory reset hasn't helped and can't update software etc when connected to Garmin Express. ...

Glad it's not just me and my 32x. I have to go through a seemingly random succession of plugging in, telling it to go to Mass Storage Mode, waiting for it to restart, unplugging it, crossing my fingers, holding my breath and just hope it shows up each time I want to load or retrieve a route/course. I live in hope of an updated model that uses bluetooth or wifi.

I've got an Etrex 20 I no longer use if you're interested, it's got the box and instructions/leads etc and a bar mount .
