A few bits wanted
I’m nearly there sourcing parts for my son’s On One Inbred thanks to some of the kind members of this forum. I am still after the following so if you have any parts bin collections you are looking to thin out I am happy to pay market rates for the following:
A 27.2mm seatpost
A sram Dub bottom bracket
Some bar ends (specific request from junior)
A 26” disc QR Wheelset
And possibly a carbon fork. I was donated a Rockshox Dart which is more than good enough for the build but I’m conscious he’s only 9 and the build is likely to be fairly heavy. I’m thinking I start him out on a rigid fork so something like an Exxotic or similar is likely to shave off at least a kilogram.
Many thanks

How do you feel about some lovely Stans 26er rims. I also have a front hub in XT flavour and when you are ready done measuring I can also send you some nice spokes
Not sure I have a rear hub spare though, sorry. The rims are used in good nick and them famous lightweight ones from days gone past. I built em myself originally so and glad to say there’s no stress fractures anywhere. Let me know Tom

Got a DUB BB you can have for free, sitting here doing nothing. PM me!

Re: A few bits wanted
I've got a pair of bar-ends you can have for postage. I may well have some wheels, can't remember if the front is QR or 20mm but I'll look in the garage later

Can't help I'm afraid, and to add insult, I spotted this, with on-one forks that'd have been ideal, being left at the tip just this lunchtime and on chatting to the supervisor about it was told "Not allowed to do anything with 'em, Mate" as it was thrown into the metals skip. What a waste.
Re: A few bits wanted
I've got some original 420 a-c On One steel forks on my son's Inbred. They would survive a nuclear strike! Something to be handed down to the grandchildren, not thrown in a skip. How sad.

Crikey, that bike would raise a good few quid for
Charity if they sold it. What a waste

That's a bit rubbish (pardon the pun!), our tip collects all bikes and takes them to one of the bike recycling outfits.Hyppy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 4:39 pm Can't help I'm afraid, and to add insult, I spotted this, with on-one forks that'd have been ideal, being left at the tip just this lunchtime and on chatting to the supervisor about it was told "Not allowed to do anything with 'em, Mate" as it was thrown into the metals skip.
