Lightweight winter gloves

How are you all finding the winter gloves holding up?

Last weekend: mid Wales, -2degC, Showa Temres XXL washing up gloves, Merino wool gloves inside those, plus occasionally bamboo liners inside those. Bone dry, no sweat, toasty. Plenty of layers, and no stupid tangled-up built-in liners.

Pretty much the same for me. Showas, fleece gloves (Decathlon, but v basic), silk liners if v cold.
I carry spare pairs of the fleece inners so I can swap them out if they get sweaty. I have very nesh hands, and this system keeps me happy down to freezing. Below that, I use pogies.

the XL ones are big enough for thermal liners.

Look quite nice with that thermal lining. The additional benefit of the the Temres's though is that they claim to be breathable. In my experience this is fair, I've not got sweaty in them unlike like a "normal washing up glove". Maybe buy some of those as well and compare?

Fishing? Could be handy if you just miss Spar closing time
