---- Starting Weight ----
04/01/25: 75.0kg (Heaviest I've been for over 12 years!)

1st Target: 64kg, 25th May 2025. Around 0.7kg a week loss (doable, assuming I don't get off target by too much).

---- Past X Weeks (7 Day Rolling Average) ----
18/01/25: 74.2kg (-0.0kg)
25/01/25: ??? (Crazy week)
01/02/25: 73.8kg (-0.4kg)

Christmas food finally gone. Back to calorie counting and trying to drink only once a week. Yay. :|

Knew it wouldn't be any bigger loss than this but a loss all the same.

Originally looked like being better than this, but the end of the week turned into a bit of a nightmare.

Not really expecting any weight loss this week as I'll be working off everything I add on Superbowl night!

Another week of hard work and minimal anything else.

But.....as part of my application for 'Husband of the year', I totally forgot that it's valentine's day and I'm buggering off for a weekend riding my bouncy bike in Finale Ligure.

I leave in an hour - I am VERY excited!!!!!

1/2 - 75.8kg
8/2 - 75.5kg
15/2 - 76.7kg

...increase down to a few snacks during the week and a big meal out last night. Thought I'd get away with a small loss or a standing still but no leeway given.

Super Bowl night ended up putting on 2.5kg and it never really came off over the rest of the week. Sometimes I really hate my body.

This morning I am where I really wanted to get down to on my home scales, but never thought that I would get here.
11 stone 7 in pounds (11 and a half stone) this morning
Or 73kg
Down from 13st 11.8 at the end of June
0r 88.9kg
That's 16kg or 35lbs lost
(7 bags of potatoes)
According to the NHS BMI calculator I'm 24.1, so we'll into the "healthy" bracket now.

Looking at them numbers again John and you’re almost into Richard weight class category. Really getting worried that I won’t able to keep up next Tuesday!! Keep it up and interested to see where you maintain your weight for the next 8 months. One day at a time (reminder to self) and best do myself a weigh in too!

Friday 3rd Jan - 83.7kg
Sunday 12th Jan - 83.25kg
Thursday 20th Feb 85.3kg

Hmm, looks like I’m stagnating. But the belly looks down and press-ups are up to about 50 every other day. Maybe it’s muscle mass… I must try harder!

I'm sat at 15st 10 .... not eating badly, not cycling enough.... it's Feb and the weather is sub par.
Back off the alcohol for the last 4 nights.

My time will come, I'm not letting it ruin my life. I'm being mindful and aware of what I'm eating.

31/1/2025 76.0 kg
14/2/2025 76.0 kg
21/2/2025 77.35 kg (!)

I did have two takeaways this week and my first beer of the year so I was expecting a gain but not quite such a big one. Only getting out for a single run this week probably didn’t help

Dunno why???

Got a gastro thing in Italy and so barely rode but equally I barely ate!

Been a regular week but the weather is improving and yet I don't seem to be able to muster much enthusiasm to get a bike out.

Sticking at being good and approaching six months of no booze :-bd

Turbo trainer broke and have no working bikes (no surprise to anyone there!), so training is a disaster at the moment.

Have put on a bit of muscle from the weight training, but the diet is not going well due to stress / depression. Terrible start to the year, really need to sort my sh*t out.

Don't beat yourself up about it, mate. Things are definitely harder when you're stressed. Look for the small wins and whatever gains you can get from those. The weight training is all good. Be pleased that you've kept that going.

Cheers.

I am probably too hard on myself, but then that's also usually the only way I force myself to get anything done. :???:

The Sadomasochist Diet then? Similar to a Weight Watcher meet-up?

Target 72kg

11/2 - 78.6kg
18/1 - 78.2kg
25/1 - 77kg
1/2 - 75.8kg
8/2 - 75.5kg
15/2 - 76.7kg
22/2 - 75.7kg
1/3 - 75.9kg

A slight increase but ok with that as I haven't been great this week. A few more snacks creeping in and comfort ate a large galaxy bar after finding out about an upcoming business restructure that inevitably means job losses. An afternoon drinking and meal out yesterday in advance of my birthday will have racked up calories. Actually, makes me think I've gotten away easy this week.

14-02-25 - 117.2kg
21-02-25 - 118kg
03-03-25 - 114.4kg

No idea where that came from?????

Not been ill, not done any exercise of note, not eaten substantially differently to normal but ultimately who cares, it's all good!

We'll see if it was a blip or a genuine loss next time.....

Ok, so either a technical or physiological blip.

But still everything moving in the right direction.....

As you were.
