Wanted - 3 season bag
I'm trying to convince my better half to give the BAM a go with me and am after a cheapish, lightish and warmish sleeping bag for her. Anyone got anything that they were looking to move on? Upper limit of budget is probably about 150 and it'd be a bonus if it's long enough for me (at 6ft) to occasionally borrow.

I have one of these, perfect for occasional 3 season use. Fits budget as well.

Thanks. I'd kind of discounted them on the basis of the 0 degrees comfort rating - my wife sleeps pretty cold and I figure we'll probably have to tolerate the odd sub zero night in order to manage the bam. Would you say 0 degrees is about the limit in your experience? And how small do they pack down?

That's pretty heavy for a zero degree bag. Ideally try to get a SH down bag as something with that temp rating will be half the weight.
I've generally found the 'comfort' rating to be an absolute minimum although I'm a bit cold blooded!

Thanks for that - it's pretty much what I was thinking too. I've got a mountain hardware bag that has a comfort rating of -2 and I had a pretty unpleasant night in at -4 with a decent pad.

Noted. 3 season usage covers quite a wide seasonal range and temp requirements weren't detailed in OP but was suggested for cost and as its only for BAM , could weight could be considered a secondary need? Packs smallish and is fine with a silk liner.
Longer jaunts, then yes the down option is used as weight is important.
