Any Eastbourne natives?

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Possibly a longshot but here goes ... 'we' have been gifted a number of bikes plus gear and it's located in Eastbourne but it needs to be collected before the end of Dec which is something I'm not able to do and wondered whether there was anyone more local who might be able to help?

My hope is that some of the items could be donated to a worthy cause and the bikes could potentially be sold / raffled / whatever and the proceeds also donated to somewhere it can do some good ... added bonus that some lucky Boners will also get a bike for less than market value. Either way, I'm hoping that the generous donation can do some good.

Everything is currently packed (bikes in plywood boxes) x 4 plus some cardboard boxes / bags.

Anyway, wondered if anyone could offer assistance or even suggest someone I could hire to collect / transport them?

If they're already packed-up Stu, then 'good old' Paisley Freight might be an option.

I struggled recently to find anyone to help me get a collection-only eBay purchased frame, where the seller wouldn't help at all, up north from Brighton, but did get a quote from Pack Send of £170 to go pack it up and then ship it. I didn't think that extortionate for the service itself but was way more than it was worth to me, so waited on a family friend to do me a favour.

Sounds like it's already sorted, but I've just seen this and live close to Eastbourne if you're still stuck?
