(Winter) bib tights....over bib shorts?!!

I recall a Josh Ibbett video-possibly from Tour Divide-where he wore some thermal and rainproof bibs over his normal.bibs. He removed the chamois if I recall correctly?
I think they were DHB Aeron Rain Defence? I could be wrong, so don't quote me!

Pretty sure I saw a video of him on the Tour Divide and he was wearing down trousers when it was cold, i.e. early mornings. Maybe he took stuff for dry cold and wet cold...

Yep. He was wearing Patagonia NanoPuff trousers through the coldest parts. But he also had the waterproof bib tights with the chamois cut out. There's a bit in the film where he's in a cafe sheltering from a storm and he puts them on.

Yes Josh is one of the two riders I was referring to. He seems to have used this combo (bib shorts + bib tights) also since he moved to Albion.
The other one is Angus with his DHB kit.
