Alpkit 3.5 trial

Post by yeti342 »

Finally today I got the time to play with my Alpkit 3.5 tarp . I tried various ways of putting it up using bike only and the end result was good (sadly I can't show you as I've no computer) but I'm on instragram under mtb_69 if you would like to go look and comment ..

Looking forward to my 1st night under the stars soon ....

Used mine at the weekend and was very happy with it, although I made use of trees rather than bike/pole.

Coincidentally I have just been in the garden trying out my 3.5 for the first time as well.
I reckon mine was less successful as I need more lines for smaller the tarp.

I will be mostly making loops out of para cord this evening for the tie out points.

Yes that's the one thank you ....

It seemed very stable (I could put a line on the bike itself) . 4 lines and 7 pegs
