Gorse proof gloves anyone?

Fed up with death by a thousand pricks ever summer. I need a pair of gloves with a ballistic nylon back and thin grippy front.

I used to wear something similar in the winter before I bought some actual winter cycling gloves. They were more yellow though, and I kinda liked the cowboy vibe.

I used to ride in paintball gloves just because they were the only gloves I had but they worked well.

Showa 281 might be a good shout, as well as being the best waterproof gloves out there they're probably tough enough to stand up to gorse

As they're cut resistant will the gorse just poke through between the threads of Kevlar?

You probably need needle safe gloves, these are a liner but at £90 you'd have to really want to ride where the gorse is.

They look pretty good actually. I've 2 pairs of tegera gloves - one warm and waterproof, 1 basically a pair of cycling gloves with a liner and a bit of water resistance. They are both good and cost a lot less than equivalent cycling gloves!

I've got ice climbing, well mixed climbing, gloves that have thin strips of kevlar(?) along the back of the fingers and knuckles. I have used them for biking. Another option might be slalom skiing gloves, again armoured along the back - in this case to bash the poles out of the way!
