Garmin oregon 600 info req
Can anyone with an oregon 600 tell me if you can make the route line thicker, as I can hardly see it at the side of the road tia

Not as far as I know. You can only change the colour.
I haven’t seen any Garmin that lets you edit the track line in any way. A real pain as no matter what colour you choose it will always clash with the colour of something on the map

There is a way by hacking the map style on the device. I really don’t recommend it as you need to know how the Garmin styles work. If you have a typ file on the Oregan then you can edit the style for the Route or Track line. It’s quite involved as typ is a weird format. I have never tried it myself

I had a look on my Oregon. There's no .typ file but a bit of googling suggests that the file may be inside the various map files, the .img files.
A further bit of searching and I found https://www.pinns.co.uk/osm/typ.html. I've not tried it so "user beware" etc.
