Hello,
I've been using Orange seal endurance for my tires for some years now and it seems to do the job. Needing a top-up I went online to buy a 16oz bottle, only to find that it is impossible to buy in France anymore. I normally buy it at bike24, but for some reason they do not ship it to France anymore. Looking round, the only thing I could find was small 4oz bottles at too expensive prices.
Anyhow, what do you guys recommend as an alternative? I am after something that doesn't dry out too quickly and does the job.

I'm after a new sealant as I'm giving up on Stans, at least once I've used up the two litres I've recently bought cheap! OK (ish) for less than 25psi but useless for gravel tyres.

I'd been recommended Orange seal but it's bloody expensive. Also came across this:- https://bikepacking.com/news/rene-herse-supple-sealant/ - wild claims to how good it is (with walnuts...) and should be available in your neck of the woods but not yet in the UK.

I've tried regular Stan's, Muc Off, Schwalbe, Peaty's, and have settled on Stan's Race. Not cheap, but I'm on my 3rd litre bottle across multiple bikes, and am yet to notice a puncture that it's failed to seal.

Edit: just remembered I've also used Conti and Nutrak over the years. Stan's Race still winning.

Sealant tends to dry out quicker in hotter weather. Not sure if any brand is better than another as I've always used used Stans.

Also higher pressure gives less time for the sealant to work as it passes through the tyre. I always thought that gravel tyre pressures were about the top end of what was practical but maybe that's not the case.

The first tubeless tyres I had were Bontrager - along with rims, valves and rim strips from Bontrager. It, therefore, made sense (to me, at least) to complete the 'system' by using their sealant, too.
Can't compare it to anything else, as it's all I've ever used - and have now used it on MTB, road and gravel without any issues.

I find them all pretty much of a muchness. I'm currently using Linseal (made by OKO) which is a lurid green colour and about £10-11 a litre delivered from Ebay.

Also interested in options as sick of stans and there are some biodegradable options out there that also claim to last longer ( presumably ammonia evaporates?

Never had any problems / punctures with my road tubeless *and they are at 85 ish psi@ 28 mm ( 10000+ miles) nor a cross one either 44mm and about 40 ish psi at a guess

* it has sealed holes as i have seen the white dots on the front wheel( and a fluid spurt )1 whilst riding but no idea how many punctures i have had.

I just found a bottle of Bontrager TLR Sealant in the basement. Forgotten that I bought it. Its pretty cool in the basement so might still be OK. I will give that a go, though other suggestions still very welcome.

If it's anything like that carp make out of ground olives, it'll be utter carp. Just pony up for the Orange Seal Endurance, thank me later.

I've only ever used orange seal endurance - I do have an emergency mini bottle of stans purely because its small enough to take on trips but I've never had to use it since the orange seal has just done its job.

Avid fan of Stan's over many years still does a good job, but recently seen a deal on the new Pirelli stuff in Tweeks Cycles Wrexham for £16 for a pint so thought I'd give it a go. some reviews say it stains wheels and frames but I'm guessing that's if your a messy bugger and you get it everywhere. Not used as yet as I've just finished my last bottle of Stan's so will update when I do

Didn’t someone on here find some sealant in a farmers shed that worked just as well as Stans but was a fraction of the price?

You can be as tidy as you like setting up, I suspect its the spraying about when you puncture that the problem

Used to use this on the fat bike, but it rarely sealed the punctures well enough to stop them deflating. Plus the water would just leak out the holes and it would dry out and become ineffective. Cheap though, so I didn't mind whipping the tyres off to patch them every few rides.

Likewise I've tried this - epic fail. OK for setting up tubeless but just oozed out of any hole.

'Spose I'll give the orange stuff a go (I've a small bottle of it I carry on long trips but I've never actually used it yet) in the 40mm tyres as otherwise it's on with the Marathons!
