Incredible price for a ti frame. Has anyone here got one of these? Quite tempted to swap out my Ragley frame for the ‘trail’ spec one

Reading on the Olsen site, he's now using 3D printing in the UK to make the frames. Does that mean the old days of fractured ti frames is coming to an end? I think the fractures were always at the weld, right!

One fail I saw on a Jenn Ride was the plate at the rear dropout, the plate had failed not the weld

Chain stays were another area some frames went at

I checked the olsen website out and he's still flogging them at full price

Is it possible these are a batch that got exported and Dave has bought them cheap of a distributer?
I had to hold myself back!
I couldn't, large tiger on the way

Might be an XL solarismax on the classifieds soon

Mildly tempted but I would be betraying my beloved Straggler. I also can't find any info on the top tube length so that's my excuse....

Tah, although never quite figured frame reach - I just need to know if my size 11's will hit the front wheel on tight turns....

Just seen it's BB drop is only 60mm, I'm very particular about these things as it impacts on how many spacers I need under the stem to get the bars up. So panic over Straggler, you are saved!
Think I'd rather have a Pipedream Alice if I was going down the monster cross route.

Sorry, I was being whimsical, I'm not really ready to sell the bike just yet.

Luckily it's got that ugly cable guide on the headtube or Ralph would be going on the classifieds  A SS Ti gravel bike has been on the wish list for a while.

That does look very nice! And I quite like the cable guide... It could replace my London road and my omega ti road bike.... Oh dear! Poor wallet

Very tempting deal. I nearly got a PX roadrunner ti in XL which was on sale for a similar price, but luckily it went out of stuck. That cable stop would be fine for me, what wouldn't is the swinger dropout. Just not interested or needed for me....

...phew, talked myself out of it!

I'd run it singlespeed all the time so the guide would be surplus. One of the things I love about my Selma is there are no cable guides for gears and (with the right dropout fitted) not even a mech hanger.

Likewise (or at least something lighter than the worthy Stragg) but there isn't much out there. I nearly bought a Salsa stormchaser but was put off by reports it's a bit rigid. The other option was a PX / Titus goldrush but they seem unwilling to discount it....
