Wtd: Exposure raised handlebar bracket

Post by redefined_cycles »

Anyone got one so I can make my light sit high enough to not be shadowed by my bar bag. Please, thanks...

Can't seem to find online and the one at Exposure is now only the stem top mount. But not sure if that sits as high as that bracket I mention. They definitely used to make one.

Price too, £32 is probably a bit too steep for me ATM.

Also, still on the Exposure site but more expensive there.

I made an extension using a piece of carbon fibre tube, aluminium will do just as well and a slightly longer 6mm countersunk head bolt inside. The bolt fits flush on the exposure wedge shaped bit and screws into the lamp. Cost, about £3

Thanks Sean. I already have that one. There's one that goes on the front stem that sits higher (I have it on the road bike) or this that sits on top of the stem cap like Duncans invention but shallower.

Get a three prong https://www.exposurelights.com/products ... sure-cleat

And a cheap go pro mount kit, I'm sure you can find a better one than this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/395422762599 ... media=COPY
