I like them a lot. Profiles that don't weigh 2kg and can fit sram rings and spiders, whats not to like. Super spendy but less than half the price of E-wings. :-bd

Couldn't see the square taper ones though.

Hmm, about the same as a set of 'burns weight wise. I would feel bad about smashing them off rocks though, despite the solid looking pedal boss!

I’d be happy if they did a GRX crank in a 42-26

Looks interesting. Be keen to read reviews, but on face value it's good that it is easily and cheaply reverse compatible. I've not had a great deal of problems with presta to be honest. There is an element of fiddle about them, so having some kind of leak-free click and go would be pretty darn good. If all goes to pot or you need to borrow someone's pump, I guess you can screw in a presta valve core? Otherwise it might just be another 'standard'...

If you need to borrow a pump you will have the adapter ( unless ypu lost ypur pump on the ride.)

The lengths that the bike industry goes to instead of just making a slightly bigger hole in rims for a schrader valves never ceases to amaze me.

That was my thought exactly. Theses days MTB (and gravel) rims are plenty wide enough for a Schrader valve and they work better with the low pressure we use but there's no money in that

Yup, but actually, maybe something like an airline hose fitting is better than schraeder. As long as you can fit it to an actual air line of course

The great advantage with Schrader is that the entire world is already equipped with inflators that are compatible with it. Even more so these days as the trend to supply new cars without spare wheels mean lots of them have 12v compressors so you can even flag down a passing motorist if you forget your pump*

* Motorists are well know for their love for cyclists so are bound to want to help

I wondered that, turns out Stans make some. Every day's a school day

I guess any bolt in Schrader valve would work? I'll have to rummage about in the workshop around the (car) tyre machine.
