A question about Garmin units

A question about Garmin units
With following the HT550 it made me wonder if/why not Garmin do a bike GPS unit with a built in inReach tracker for this kinda thing/rider? Don’t need all the power meter or jump distance stuff, just the basics of mapping etc and the inReach built in, which of course you can subscribe to as and when.

Yes, I suppose, however less spendy than say the 1040 and a separate inReach unit

I guess I'm looking at it in terms of picking up a Dakota or Etrex touch cheap off ebay, and a Spot cheap off here!
