Not sure it'd even support my weight but a little fella like your good self it looks perfect.
You getting some bags made up for it?

Stu I reckon that's pretty neat, you obviously have far more patience and skill than I do, nice job

Re: More shopping action - 95% complete.
I recall, longer ago than I care to remember, a roadie mate of mine turned up with an old folding shopper (from a skip) with a broken folding pivot and he wanted to fix it up for a park at the station bike.
We bolted it together and made a rear mudguard out of a discarded flooring panel. Great fun.

Just in case the shopper doesn't take to bike packing so well - why not make it into a picnic bike??!

I'd show that picnic thing to my wife as it would encourage her cycling... but she would demand I get her it immediately
Possibly to use with the dutch fancy basket/seat we got a while back!
The monster shopper sounds do-able, don't the new small fat-bikes have wee-but-fat wheels?

I used to built things like this (inc' this one) for a living, so I don't think a fat / monster shopper will be too trickyThe monster shopper sounds do-able, don't the new small fat-bikes have wee-but-fat wheels?

Looks amazing - the original was in pretty good nick! Does it still have the internal hub gear or is it a single speed now?
Brings back fond memories of biking as a girl.

Somebody already touring with an unsuitable bike. Look at the last photo in this link:
