WRT pre-ride accommodation recommendations

I am planning to arrive close to the WRT start the evening before the event because the trip is a slog for me.

Are anyone else doing or done similar? And if so do you have recommendations of where to stay? My ideal would be somewhere I can grab a pint (just the one ) some food.
