Welsh biofuel meths alternative

Allegedly more efficient and cleaner than meths. Its also made in Wales and eco friendly, so ticks all the right boxes

I am in no way shape or form an expert on meths stoves so could be a complete load of bunk

I'd be interested to see how viscous it is. If it's too thick it might not find it's way into the inner chambers on double walled stoves.

It does say it's 'drip resistant' which sounds like quite a thick fluid..

I see they do a solid fuel tablet, which looks interesting - I have one of those ludicrous esbit 6g stoves but I never liked the chemicallyness (technical term) of the esbit tablets...

That's more like it. I had a google and saw all sorts of gels for garden lanterns & indoor fireplaces. Is this the same stuff? It's all new to me!

I know the stuff for fireplaces doesn't burn as hot / well as meths ... no idea whether it's the same or similar though.

I use b and q bioethanol in my meths stoves, it seems to work just like meths only a little more flamey, but for the price (I think it was a 5er for 2 litres) it'll do me :D

Its also available as a solid fuel that melts into a liquid, that's ok to fly with. I also saw that it resets when cold & can be scooped back into a bag...
