My Alpkit Brukit (Jetboil clone) windshield has detached itself from the mug. It appears to have been glued originally.
Alpkit appear to have no interest in replacing it (to be fair it's 4 years old), and won't recommend a glue to fix it.
A quick google suggests there's plenty of high temperature glues for sale but how high do I need? I can use a silicone type one that goe up to 300°C or a solvent based one that can go to 1000°C!
But how hot does a stove get?!
Any comments gratefully recieved (as ever).
P.S. the Brukit lives in my car for coffee breaks on site rather than part of my camping kit!
How hot do we think a stove gets?

It'll get pretty hot but I'll hazard a guess that HT silicone will do the trick. I've used it to bond bases on meths stoves before and it also gets used to seal exhausts, which will be much hotter than any stove gets.
