I'm in, with a newbie, maybe two.
I'll have dirty alcohol.
If your not carrying filthy alcohol, that means you'll have more room for coal.

I'm sure they'd cope but I'm not sure my wife would be too happy about being left on her own!

In, not sure about Logistics yet though, Stu, are you biking from your house or driving to closer?

Had considered riding down but common sense took hold, I'll be driving down and parking up ... not sure where yet though.

I was thinking more Strata Florida and maybe exploring the forest on the way in.

I'm easy, although I'm coming from Oeswestry due Mrs Fantastic booking some hotel for a couple of nights without the kids.
what time are you thinking about setting off? I doubt she'll want to check out too early
Might be easier if I just meet you all at the Bothy?

Really hadn't thought about times, etc ... I've just had to be reminded it's Christmas day :?
I suppose as you say, it'll be easier to meet up there ... enjoy your hotel

Stu, any chance of a lift back to your way? On the 31st?
I can then cycle to Mach and maybe the train from there.

Right then, my plan is to ride from Brecon early on Friday morning aiming for Llanwrtyd for 12.00pm. For anyone who wants to ride up to the bothy from there, we can meet outside the Spar.
I'll have my Spot with me, so if I'm not there by 12pm you should be able to see how far off I am:

Weather looks sub standard! I however have plenty of eVent and I'm strangely glad about the crappy weather situation

I'm just in from a days guiding ... even my eVent was a little overwhelmed. The lads I was guiding reckon in 10 years they've never endured conditions like the have today on the tops

Sorry I can't make it family visiting from Northampton so no can do :(
Oh well, I have had some friends go to the bothy last weekend and said it was really nicely done out the working party did a great job there seemingly.
Also there was one can of Kestrel lager and a few cans of food so the basis of a party is available.
Have fun one and all
