Wild camping / camping near Armadale Isle of Skye ?

Hi,

Just done most of Hebridean way and now crossing Isle of Skye

The only problem I’m having is to plan on catching the ferry at Armadale early in the morning.

I fancied a paid campsite the day before I leave but there appears none close enough to enable catching the early morning ferry.

I was looking for somewhere close to camp near the ferry so I don’t have a long cycle on that day, just in case I have a problem with the bike etc

Can anyone recommend a camping/weekend wild camping area that is not too far from Armadale?

I'd contact The Inn nearby and ask if you eat and drink there could you pitch where these benches are?

You can camp on the beach at Tokavaig (other side of peninsular to Armadale on a wee road looping over and back from the main road) around GR NG 59755 11605
There did used to be a small campsite advertised on 'Cool Camping' at Armadale itself - not sure if its gone completely or just gone off the radar....
