Free: Wahoo ELMNT ROAM (duff battery- sold & posted)

Got this from ebay a while back and it arrived looking mint. But the battery appeared to be draining fast and when I plugged it in to recharge it did nothing.

Sent back to the ebayer who claimed 'we sell & test tens of em and yours fell through' after forgetting to refund me. Got the refund and sent it back. A month or so later it's been returned to me by Royal Mail as the recipient didn't accept delivery!

If anyone wants it to try and see if you're a dab hand at replacing the battery (without cracking the screen whilst ungluing it all) then feel free to give me a shout. Or you could maybe use it as a grovelling mechanism with Wahoo to grab a discount code!

Otherwise it'll just go in the bin and let this be a lesson for those that use the battery constantly to the last drops - IMO it's not kind to the device!

Here is a how to guide which I briefly considered (the mobile shop repair guy flat-out refused with a 'no') before realising I'll probably break the screen whilst undoing.
